The team deals with a broad range of Environmental Health duties and has recently merged to form one new service area. We have the opportunity for two officers to join the Environmental Protection Team to deliver on the Councils priorities.

We are looking for professional, competent and enthusiastic individuals who are able to communicate well at all levels, with the ability to cope with a demanding workload.

Applications are invited from candidates with a degree in Environmental Health or equivalent science based degree.

The roles require excellent communication and organisational skills, a flexible approach to work and a solution focused outlook. You will be working in a friendly and supportive environment and will be expected to work well with all members of the team and wider council colleagues. A good level of effective IT skills and the ability to understand and develop the use of ICT to achieve work objectives is also required.
