The Role:

In this fast-moving role, you’ll use data to inform policy and decisions about the future of parking in one of London’s busiest boroughs. Your research, analysis and advice will be highly valued as you provide vital insights into different aspects of our parking service, from parking enforcement to visitor pay-to-park. Your work will also play a key role in improvement and development initiatives. From day-to-day statistics to future market trends, you’ll generate vital management information assessing, for example, the impact of change on customer service and income. 

This is a hybrid role where, for at least 50% of contracted hours, you will be based at a Council workplace in central London in a team situation that ensures adequate coverage during the full working week.

About You:

A self-starter, you’re likely to have some background in a data analytics environment.  You must be capable of interpreting data from diverse sources in different formats, often to tight deadlines. You’ll have a good grasp of analysis tools such as business intelligence (BI) software. While knowledge of parking services would be helpful, it is not essential.  More important are strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and communicate at all levels.  Some project management experience would be helpful.
