What will your day look like?
This role is within our Initial Contact Point, which sits within our Integrated Front Door (IFD).
The ICP Worker role is a pivotal role at the start of a childâs journey with social care. The ICP Worker will be responsible for taking all calls which relate to children who are not open to Childrenâs Social Care, or Family Help, but who members of the public, or professionals may have worries about.
The ICP Worker role would be to answer calls, using a strength based approach, asking the appropriate questions, and ensuring we gather the very best quality, clear and concise information about children from the very start.
During the call you will be responsible for inputting this straight into Liquidlogic, determine if this is a request for Family Help, or if there are presenting safeguarding concerns.
Once a contact has been recorded, the ICP Worker will carried out further exploration, making multiagency checks, which will then lead to an analysis of what this means for the child and a plan of support created. Where safeguarding concerns are evident, the ICP Worker will be responsible for raising this appropriately with a Social Worker and Practice Supervisor, to ensure comprehensive review by a Social Worker.
Who are we looking for?
Why join us?
You will be joining a passionate team that places children at the heart of the decisions they make and champions supporting each other every single day.
