The Vacancy
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious legal professional to join North Lincolnshire Council’s newly formed senior leadership team.
Maintaining the highest standards of local democracy, organisational transparency and ensuring that the rule of the law is observed across the whole council, candidates should be systems leaders who will build on the existing strengths of the council’s legal, democratic and information governance services.
As the council’s monitoring officer, advising on the constitution, the standards regime, codes of conduct and election matters, you will also be part of the team, working with partners, to deliver the recently agreed devolution deal for Greater Lincolnshire.
The Assistant Director Legal will play a pivotal role in further shaping the ambitious vision and priorities for residents. They will play an integral role in transformation by continuing the development of a modern legal and governance offer which supports and enables the council’s ambitions.
Candidates must deliver enabling, progressive and sustainable approaches which underpin the One Council approach to continuous improvement, transformation and improving outcomes to enable greater impact and ensure a better, brighter, more prosperous future for every family in North Lincolnshire.
