We are looking for an accomplished and proactive leader in this new role as Head of Democratic Services & Elections, you will also fulfil the essential function of the council’s Monitoring Officer. Your experience of Democratic Services and Elections will help you to provide strong leadership to our experienced teams, and as Monitoring Officer your expert and transparent advice on all governance matters will support both officers and elected members to make the best decisions for the council and our communities.
This role is pivotal in upholding statutory compliance, in addition you will provide expert advice and guidance on creative and innovative approaches to service delivery You will be an inspirational and inclusive leader that creates a positive environment where everyone can be themselves and can fulfil their potential.
