Permanent, Full time, 37 hours per week
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Housing Property Service leading on Housing Property Compliance and Building Safety functions.
Reporting to the Housing Asset and Compliance Service Manager you will be responsible for housing property compliance, health and safety, and building safety ensuring robust processes, policies and strategies are in place.
You will ensure that our housing stock is maintained to the required minimum standard as set out by legislation and in line with Council's objectives. You will also lead on property compliance and health and safety providing assurance to our Senior Leadership Team and Cabinet Member on legislative and statutory requirements.
To be considered for this role it is essential that you have extensive experience and knowledge of property compliance and experience of managing staff.

Until 31st March 2026 employees paid at Band D and above are subject to a temporary pay reduction of 1.15% spread out by means of a monthly deduction from each pay period over the full financial year. In recognition of implementing this temporary measure, those who experience a pay reduction will be awarded three additional days leave (pro rata for part-time).
