An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the Sheffield Highway Network Management Team, specifically within the Coordination team. The role of the Coordination team is to process, schedule, and monitor any Street or roadworks, developments or events affecting the highway, in order to minimise disruption.
As Principal Engineer within the Coordination team, your role will include –
The successful candidate will have a good grasp of current digital technology. They will have considerable experience in dealing with works affecting the Public Highway. They will be used to working with scheme promoters at a senior level on matters that affect the Public Highway They will have a proven track record of building, developing and maintaining partnerships.

If appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
