We are looking for three enthusiastic people to join the Recovery Team with responsibility for the collection of Council Tax which are either due to customers reaching the end of the current debt recovery cycle or defaulting on current arrangements.
As a member of the team, you will ensure customer enquiries are dealt with promptly and professionally. You will be in contact with the public on the telephone and various internal departments. You will also be involved in negotiating terms of payment on debts as well as analysing and utilising the most proficient form of recovery available to the council.
You will ideally need to have 2yrs experience working within a busy office environment. You must be computer literate, flexible and willing to work in a team. Good interpersonal skills are as important as previous experience in this area.
Successful applicants will be subject to flexible working hours and must be able to work a minimum of 37 Hours per week. This job is Hybrid working with 1 day in the office, however there is scope for this to be increased to 3 days a week in the future.
