WHAT IS INVOLVED?
As a Senior Data and Insights Officer, you will provide specialist technical expertise, leadership and support for the Council's enterprise GIS environment. Working across a diverse range of services, you will help develop and deliver geospatial solutions that enable colleagues to make informed, evidence-based decisions.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused GIS professional with substantial experience delivering enterprise GIS solutions.
You will have experience of:
Knowledge of SQL, cloud technologies, ETL processes, data integration, AI and emerging technologies would be advantageous.
You will be a proactive and innovative problem solver with a passion for using geospatial technology to deliver business value. You will be comfortable working independently, leading projects and collaborating with colleagues across the organisation to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject area, or substantial experience appropriate to the role, is essential. Relevant GIS or ICT professional qualifications are desirable.
