This is an exciting role in Sheffield City Council, the post holder will take a leading role in promoting placement expansion across South Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and strategically minded person to drive work to help us grow the health and social care workforce. The post holder will support work placements within health and social care organisations.
We are seeking someone with knowledge of adult health and social care, with expertise and understanding of the issues relating to cross-sector placements. This post holder will actively build relationships across South Yorkshire and will work closely with Integrated Care System (ICS), Local Authority and partner agencies to grow the health and social care workforce together as ‘One Workforce’.

The post is City Centre based and currently includes a mix of office based, visits and home working. The post holder is also expected to travel to locations across South Yorkshire.

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
