About Day Services (DMH)

Care Services Cumberland has Day Services for adults with a diverse range physical and/or learning disabilities. The support we offer is highly personalised to meet the needs of the individual and, to promote and maintain independence. Allerdale and Copeland services operate from various sites across the district, providing exciting day opportunities, tailored care programmes and activities including, drama, horticulture, life skills & wellbeing, ICT & media skills, woodcraft and much more… 

About the role

As a Day service Support Worker, you will get to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. You will also assist with medication, providing personal care, and encouraging people to achieve their full potential. We are looking for support workers who are flexible, enthusiastic, willing to undertake specialised activities and training whilst also sharing your own personal skills, interests and ideas.
